Been eyeing these gadget for long, n decided to buy because I want to print photo for my travel journal, or just for fun. I have Instax Mini 7 for so long. I love it, even though rarely use it. Why I don't use my Instax Mini 7 so often, because I don't like the wild factor that you didn't know how the photo will turned out to be until it came out (even though, some people think that's the main FUN factor from instant photography, but yeah, I'm not one of them), but these product change that perception. I choose mine to be white, since my Mini 7 and my mirror-less camera is also white. First thing that I tried to do was to print my travel photos, since they put it in their square website, "You can also save other images to storage media (microSD card), edit and print from SQ10" well, I tried, but nothing came up in my SQ10 until I rename (DSCF00001.jpg) and copy the excel file (rename it with the same DSCF0001 format), following the format of SQ10, to trick the camera to think that my pictures were taken using SQ10. And voila! It's done! The great thing about these product, there are two method, Auto and Manual. Auto is like any other Instax Camera, it will print the photo instantly after captured, while Manual, you can see the preview, edit, save, print and repeat. And for me, Manual is the best. (+) It's pretty, light, great build and design (+) Great feature, many filter, you can turn on and off the lightning, self-timer. (+) Enable to upgrade software, since it's digital (+) You can see the preview photo, edit, save, print and reprint, if you want a copy without have to recapture the photo again. (+) Rechargeable battery (-) You need another step to print other image from SQ10 (-) There is nothing cover the main lens, like other Instax Camera. Dirt and Scratch Possibilities. (-) no Wi-Fi, for transfer picture from and to other phone, or probably, edit pictures from phone. (-) The Instax film are obviously different from other Instax, it's square. So you need to stock another film, and it's more expensive than the regular one. Because it's new, it's only available on white frame. Hopefully, they will release more color like Instax Mini. You can spot some dark images taken from Mini 7, that's why I don't like wild factor about it. While in the hybrid SQ10, you are able to print the images that you really like, so you won't waste anymore film.
Beside the good and the bad of the product, I'm really disappointed to Fujifilm Instax Indonesia. Because when I bought these on May, they gave out promo free 3 pack square Instax film for every purchase of SQ10. But then, on June, I found out they slash the price, yes people, on June 2018, you can buy these only 2.999.000 IDR and free 1 refill instax pack, while I bought it on 3.999.000 IDR for free 3 refill instax pack. NOO!! I know, probably they just want to clear their stock, because they just released the brand new SQ6. But still, my heart is aching! Since I love discount and promo too much. LOL.

Have you watch "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids?", it's 1989 family movie about a scientist father that accidentally shrink his own kids and his neighbors as a size of insects. Now, I don't remember the exact plot, but one thing I remember I request it over and over again to my father, to watch it, even though I know I don't understand it. Well, that's comedy that I hope from these movie. They have Kristen Wiig for God's sake, my favorite. Plus Jason Sudeikis, NPH, but nope they're just passing by like fly. From the trailer, I imagine a problem immerse when they were little. But nope, it's another plot of story, and another problem. It's like the writer didn't know where to go, they add here and there, minus here and there. I was confused and don't know where's the climax of the story. It's my useless 2 hours Sunday Evening that never go back. One time I thought it would be new adventures as couple, then it lead into dark side of downsizing, then later it go back to environment issue. Too many puzzles in one movie that seems were extremely forced into one. One thing that I learned about these movie is people react different to a problem. Some people just constantly complains about it, some people run away and think of themselves more, some people try to find solution with a bigger picture even though the problem is miles away, some people over react, some people follow other's flow, some people enjoys it until the time come, and some people embrace it and be the best of the situation. So which one are you? Do you acknowledge the problem or just ignore it? But one actress stood up and stole the show, at least for me. It's Hong Chau, she played an Vietnam protester that has been downsizing as punishment by Vietnam Government, and in mini community, where everyone is suddenly rich, she work as a cleaner with limb legs for the rich and live with her innocent eyes, took everything that has been undervalued for new rich people ( like drugs and extra foods in the kitchen) to share everything with everyone in her poor neighborhood. And yes, if you dig your memory like mine while watching her in a big screen. She is the Cook Pu joke in How I Met Your Mother series. She probably played many role after those Cook Pu, but those Cook Pu stuck in my head the most. *sorry* I watch these movie for my Day 5 Blog Post in #blogeverydayinFeb, for me, it's below expectation. I'd rather shopping than spend 2 hours watching confused movie that mislead by the trailer.
