I'm a fan of Harvest Moon. It was started from the Back to Nature on PS1. I've obsessed with it. I played the girl version also on GBA version, and the last HM that I played was A Wonderful Life.
It was stated that Harvest Moon : Light of Hope was created in celebration of 20th Anniversary. Many people have a high expectation of it. And some of them disappointed when know that the game's graphic looked very cheap, it's not PC Quality Game Standard. But I like it. Yeah it was too simple. But that's the harvest moon, I know. It was simple and 2D. A Wonderful Life looked so much better than these game. And we can choose to be a boy or girl farmer. The plot and gameplay relatively the same. Plot In the beginning of the game, the main character was stranded in Beacon Town after the storm. And he/she decided to live in Beacon Town, and help build the town after the storm. At the beginning, there were not many places can be accessed, it was our mission to build the town one building at the time. I'm not an expert but some tips that I learned for playing these game for 3 days : 1. Mining and Fishing are the moneymaker. Farming makes money in the beginning until you can mine and fish. To make easy money from farming : plant flowers, it's a common gift for most people, and you can sell to the florist with higher price. 2. Mining : Fix Blacksmith's House and Mine first, to get hammer. Mine until level 20++, you can make precious stone in the blacksmith, then sell it. It's easy money. 3. Fishing : Plant enough tulips, to fix the house on the right, to get fishing rod.

Who's your Daddy? *wink On the time I wrote these post, Steam is holding a sale for Dream Daddy, it's also when I buy these game on my steam. I promised myself that I would buy these game, if it's on sale. And whalaaa.. the morning after I said that, steam was holding a sale. I never ever seriously play dating simulation game, beside Sims (if it's count). I even mock my friends who constantly playing these kind of game. Do you know there's a game where your virtual boyfriend could constantly text or call you? That's crazy. It makes your boyfriend criteria higher. No? Or is it just me? Anyway. I saw these game when I searched simulation game on Steam, it caught my eye. My first thought, was really? But then, I saw the youtube, I even saw the secret Cult Ending, which is really creepy and interesting. Then that morning when I saw it on sale, I bought it. And yeah, my friends mock me because the first dating game that I play is Gay Daddy Dating Game. But I don't care. It's funny and fun! Plot
So basically, we play a father of one teenage girl. Your partner was passed away (you can choose either you had a wife or a husband). We just moved to new neighborhood, where many single hot daddy around. There are 7 dateable dads:
Who is my favorite? Craig. He is more my type in real life. And he has twins and adorable baby that you can't miss. So I pursued Craig first, and it's not easy on second date. Tips : always save after date, so you can replay it all over again if your date is not successful. I replay the second date with Craig for three times, before I got S rank. Is it worth it to buy? Because I buy it on sale. I could say it's worth it. But probably after all endings, you get bored and move on. But just short-time fun, it's cool. Tell me who's your favorite Daddy and why.. |
